Ce processus est \u00e9galement d\u00e9sign\u00e9 sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0test de l&rsquo;\u0153il\u00a0\u00bb ou de \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9termination de l&rsquo;acuit\u00e9 visuelle\u00a0\u00bb. La d\u00e9termination de l&rsquo;acuit\u00e9 visuelle fait partie de tout examen pr\u00e9liminaire. Elle sert \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9tat du patient et \u00e0 \u00e9valuer le d\u00e9roulement de l&rsquo;examen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;ophtalmologue ou l&rsquo;opticien, d\u00e9cide de la correction \u00e0 apporter \u00e0 la vision de loin et, si n\u00e9cessaire, l&rsquo;addition de la vision de pr\u00e8s pour la lecture, \u00e9galement appel\u00e9e addition.
